CultureCast #25: How does an organization work to be able to change its offer as quickly as the framework conditions change with Unni Hafskjold Mildon, HR Manager at Studensamskipnaden i Sørøst-Norge (In Norwegian)

During the pandemic,  many things turned around in the business world. Many businesses had completely changed framework conditions, costs and tasks, and many had to take drastic measures to survive at all. One of the businesses that was turned around was the student cooperatives. They have worked night and day so that the students would still get what they need; food in the canteen, health services and safe and good study conditions. How does such a turnaround take place? How does an organization work to be able to change its offer as quickly as the framework conditions change? Preferably without increasing costs?

To talk about this, I have been lucky enough to bring with me one of the most courageous leaders of change I know. “I love to work and have a great passion for organizational culture, management and organizational development” it says on her linkedin page! She has a Master’s in management and organizational psychology, has worked in shipping, preparedness and was a board member of the international school in Telemark. Now she is HR manager in the student association in South-Eastern Norway, and today she is visiting us to share her experiences with us. Welcome, Unni Hafskjold Mildon!
