Myth Vs Reality: Personal Values and Organizational Culture Alignment
We are going through a cultural development process, should all our personal values be 100% aligned with our new culture? – This is a very common question we get in the cultural development process.
There is no way that all people are aligned with the aspired culture 100%. We are unique people and we are all different. So, that level of differences is an important part of creating diversity and authenticity in the culture. What we need to focus on is making everyone aware of the aspired culture and making everyone aware of their personal values and their alignment with the aspired culture.
We want people to operate in their own unique way and at the same time want them to head in the right direction of what culture we are trying to build.
